Lisa Tetzlaff originally from Washington State grew up surrounded by beautiful mountains, lakes, & evergreens.

She started out her career as a photographer capturing images of her two children. Though taking pictures of them growing up was of much interest she knew that she always had a passion for the love of nature and its beauty. She started capturing images from their family trips and would share them with others. The encouraging comments she would get pushed her to find her niche in outdoor nature photography.

“Natural Images by Lisa” was born out of a creative passion to excel at her hobby and explore new ideas.

Lisa enjoys the adventure and challenges of traveling to record nature’s moments in time. She says there is a feeling of accomplishment when she can capture a beautiful image that someone will be able to enjoy for a lifetime.

Accomplishments:

2000 “Simply Beautiful” was published in Shades of Life, a coffee table book.

2006 “Farm Cat” was published in the Star News Calendar.

2008 *Monticello Photo show “Pirate Ships” & “Heavenly Sunset” won 2nd place.

*Brainerd Lakes 41st Annual photo Contest “Rendezvous Baby” won 1st place in the children category, “Peacock close-up, Perfect Timing, Britney, Beach Hut, and Myotis Bat”, all won 2nd place ribbons, and Pink Rose won 3rd place.

*Sherburne County Fair “Pirate Ships” won Reserve Grand Champion; Livonia Eagle won Grand Champion,
KO Olina Cove won 1st place and Surrounded by Life a 2nd place ribbon.

Lisa is a self-taught outdoor nature photographer that uses natural light with her digital cameras to capture amazing images. She believes that the most important aspect in photography is composition. She currently resides in Zimmerman with her husband Brian, their two children Britney & Areona, and their dog Angel.
